2009 National FFA Convention
For the 5th year in a row I traveled to the National Future Farmers of America Annual Convention to share the Gospel with the Fellowship of Christian Farmers. This year I was blessed to take 2 Ministry Academy students with me to Indianapolis where the convention was held. They are both in their early 20’s and so they could really relate to the FFA kids and they also added a lot of energy to the outreach. They, as well as others in our group, prayed with many FFA kids from all over the nation to receive Jesus into their lives. The 2 students were also allowed to set up a display table to promote the Ministry Academy. It is a blessing to see this new breed of Christians ministering so effectively and with so much fire and zeal.
It is no wonder that Benny Hinn says that revival in America is going to begin with the young people. We as Christians need to reach out to the young people and preach Jesus to them because these are the next Billy Grahams and Joyce Meyers. These young people are going to be the ones who will help usher in the return of Christ. Also, young people are the most receptive to the Gospel for the most part. Their hearts are not as hardened yet and they are not so set in their ways.
