FulFill Your Destiny Part Two

As I stated in my last post, part one of Fulfill Your Destiny, God has a special and unique plan for each and every one of us. This time I want to make a few points that will help us to see our destiny come to pass.

1. It is up to us to figure out what that plan is. We need to seek God and let Him show us what His plan is for our life. Now, keep in mind, that God will not hide His plan from you. Some day you will stand before Him and be judged on if you did His will or not. If He holds us accountable to do His will then of course He will show what His will is. We just need to seek Him with an open and willing heart to discover it

2. The next step is to write His plan down. Habakkuk 2:2 says, “And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.” Once you write it down then I believe it is important to get it out, read, and pray over it every day thanking God for bringing it to pass in your life.

3. 2 Corinthians 2:14 says, “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savor of his knowledge by us in every place.” Praise is the language of faith and when we praise God that the vision is done before we see it come to pass in the natural then we will eventually see it come to pass in the natural.

4. We must be dedicated to see our vision come to pass. Recently the Texas Christian University (TCU) head football coach, Gary Patterson was named coach of the year. His team went undefeated in the regular season and then lost a close one to Boise State in the Fiesta Bowl on January 4, 2010. I played football with Gary Patterson at Dodge City Community College. I still remember that he had his mind made up back then that he wanted to be a football coach when he was done playing football. He was a hard working, dedicated, faithful player and obviously he had to have been a faithful, hard working, dedicated coach to have had the success that he has had in coaching. The same principle will work for anyone. Find out what your calling is like Gary Patterson did and then be hard working and dedicated to be the best that you can be in what God has called you to be.
