Mardi Gras in St. Louis

Sunday morning, February 14th, at the St. Louis Dream Center I was with a policeman from the St. Louis Police Department and he was telling me that the St. Louis Mardi Gras celebration that took place on Saturday, February 13th had its biggest crowd ever here in St. Louis. Some others and I had passed out Gospel tracts and witnessed at that Mardi Gras celebration and I had noticed that the crowd seemed awfully large. Shiprock Missions Trip

dscf42602On Wednesday morning, September 30th, I and 5 students from the Ministry Academy in St. Louis began the long journey to the Navajo Nation in New Mexico. On our way we stopped at Faith Community Church in Great Bend, Kansas where we testified and ministered at their youth group. We spent the night at Faith Community and then on Thursday drove on to Navajo Ministries in Farmington, New Mexico where we stayed during our time in New Mexico.

Friday morning we were able to testify and minister at the Navajo Ministries early morning devotional meeting. One of the Ministry Academy students, Jimmy led praise and worship at this meeting. They then asked us to be guests on the morning show of their Christian radio station KNMI (more…)

Top 10 Ways to Share Gospel Tracts

Gospel tracts are simple and effective way to share the Gospel. I heard one statistic which found that 60% of the people who get saved do so by reading a tract or book. I’ve also heard that a tract handed to one person eventually reaches 7 different people. For more information on Gospel tracts and what makes a good tract click here.

A final note before we get into the top ten list – we believe that it is best to operate within local ordinances and laws when sharing the Gospel. If you can’t pass out tracts in a certain area because of regulations then find an area close where it is allowed. Along this line, be aware that it is against the law to place anything in someone’s mailbox.

Now, here are the top ten ways to share Gospel Tracts.

10. Pass them out to people in Parks and walking down busy streets.

9. Hand them out to people going into a Concert (Rock, Country, etc.).

8. Many communities have festivals or fairs; State fairs, County Fairs, Local Festivals, or Flea Markets and these can be great places to share Gospel tracts with people.

7. Parades. People waiting for a parade to start are often bored. You can walk down the street and (more…)
